Catching Up

I've been trying to figure out how to stay in touch with Angelarium fans, and it's been all over the place. Most of the writing that I'm doing about the project is being distributed across hidden Patreon posts, private emails and mailing list updates. So, it's time that I started using this section of the website again. Partially so I can just tell you about what's going on and partially so that anyone discovering this thing for the first time has some hope of digging through site for some clue on what this thing is.

Hi, by the way. I'm Pete Mohrbacher. I'm the creator of Angelarium and the primary contributor on it. I'll be writing blogs and news posts here about every week or two.

This month has been a challenging one. I just got back from the second 4 day convention this month. Doing so has left me with about one week of actual studio time and 5 days left to both start and finish the next painting in the series.

October marks my 32nd birthday and the least amount of art I've worked on all year. The little time I've spent in the studio has been dominated by shipping logistics, signing and general business management. It's sort of like rock bottom for me and it's tearing me up inside. There are a lot of changes that I'm planning, but for now, I'm still on a 7 day work schedule with little time for painting.

I'll be finishing Baraqiel, Angel of Lightning in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that before November rolls around. Like always, I'll be doing my best to blast it out across social media, but I'll also be doing a little writing about the work on here and for my mailing list. Subscribing to either means that you'll get notified when new paintings come out.

I look forward to talking with you more moving forwards and finally getting past my crazy travel schedule. Next stop Nashville, TN. I'm hosting and teaching a workshop for artists there!

Best Wishes,
